Hunter Valley - Destination Review
WATERWAY: Lake Glenbawn
Nestled in the Hunter Valley's wine region, Lake Glenbawn offers excellent fishing for a range of native sportfish species. The main target is the healthy population of Australian bass, which grow to a huge size for this specie. Other native fish encountered at Lake Glenbawn include golden perch, Murray cod and catfish. All species can be targeted with a variety of lures, both cast and trolled, as well as using natural baits. Boat launching facilities are good. Camping and cottage-style accommodation is available.
